AHA is the acronym for the American Hospital Association. This national organization represents and lobbies on behalf of all types of hospitals, health networks, patients and communities. Its membership is composed of nearly 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, other providers of care and 40,000 individual members. The organization works on behalf of its members to represent their perspective in helping shape national health care policy, legislation and laws.
